TV Requirements

An HDMI input must be available on the TV.

In order to prevent an unexpected turn-on of the TV, the HDMI CEC feature must be disabled.

If you are unable to disable the HDMI CEC feature, then email us about purchasing our HDMI Adapters. This product will override the feature for you simply by plugging it into your TV before your Chromecast.
